These terms cover lessons, interactives and Lesson Kits bought from hanten.app by individual teachers. Hanten is run by Hanten LLC. School and district licenses are arranged separately; see school & district licensing.
What you're buying
- Each lesson is a digital file that opens in a web browser.
- Each interactive is a self-paced activity students work through on their own. It comes as a file and as a private class link your students can open with no account or login. A Lesson Kit is a lesson together with its matching interactive.
- An individual purchase is for your own teaching. You can use what you buy with every class you teach, and every student in those classes, as often as you like, on any of your devices, at no extra cost.
- Please don't post the files or class links publicly, resell them, or share them with other teachers. If a class link is shared too widely, you can replace it with a new one at any time. Colleagues can buy their own, and a school license covers everyone in a school.
Prices and payment
- Prices are in U.S. dollars.
- Lessons: $3 each, any 5 for $12, any 15 for $25, or the Complete Collection of all 100 paid lessons for $99.
- Interactives: $5 each, any 5 for $20, any 15 for $45, or the Complete Collection of all 100 paid interactives for $149.
- Lesson Kits: $6 each, any 5 for $25, any 15 for $55, or Everything (every lesson and every interactive) for $199.
- Free to use: the Mean vs. Median lesson (A001), the How Big Is Africa? interactive (N007), and the Survivorship Bias kit (A054 and N054).
- Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Hanten never sees your card number.
Delivery and lifetime access
- Everything you buy is ready as soon as payment goes through, on the page where you checked out: downloads, and a class link for each interactive.
- Your purchases never expire. To download again on any device, open “Already purchased?” on the Lessons page and enter the email you used at checkout. We'll email one link that restores everything you've bought.
- When we improve a lesson or interactive you own, the updated version is yours at no extra cost, and your class links show it automatically.
- Each Complete Collection, and Everything, includes every item available on the day you buy, plus every new item we publish in the 12 months after your purchase. Everything you receive is yours to keep. New items after that are sold separately; a school or district license includes new products for as long as the license is active.
Refunds
- If a lesson doesn't work for you, or you bought something by mistake, contact us within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund it.
- If you accidentally buy a lesson you already own, we'll refund the duplicate and you keep your access.
- Upgrading to the Complete Collection? If you buy the Complete Collection within 30 days of buying individual lessons or packs with the same email, contact us and we'll refund those earlier purchases. You keep access to everything through your Complete Collection.
- When a whole purchase is refunded, the lessons from that purchase can no longer be downloaded. Please delete any copies you've saved.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method and usually take 5–10 days to appear.
- If a payment is disputed with your bank, downloads from that purchase are paused until the dispute is resolved.
If something goes wrong
If a download won't open or something doesn't look right, tell us and choose “Lessons.” We'll fix it or make it right.
Changes
We may update these terms as Hanten grows. Changes won't take away access to lessons you've already bought.
